Plot twist: it's a love story
Sweet Cut Co
Two kitchens. One obsession. A husband-and-wife duo who went from culinary school to a lunch truck, showpiece cakes, and celebrity catering, then built the tools bakers actually need.
Chapter one: the meet-cute (with knives)
We met in culinary school, that glorious pressure cooker of burnt sugar, late nights, and people who think a perfect julienne is a personality trait. Then life did what life does: we split paths. Different kitchens. Different cities. Same fire, separately.
Years later, North Hollywood energy, we collided again. He casually dropped that he was helping open a restaurant. (Yes, it was a flex. Yes, it worked.) That spark didn't stay casual for long.
Cue the montage: we got together, got engaged, and launched our first venture, a lunch truck. Service window open, menus scribbled, herbs on the shelf, and every hour somehow happy hour. That truck taught us how to hustle side by side before the rooms got bigger.

Somewhere in between: a 9-foot cake
Between the truck and the full catering years, Nilani built a showpiece that still makes our jaws drop: a massive 9-foot cake, every glass bead hand hung and sewn piece by piece, floating on a custom acrylic stand she engineered for the spectacle.
That cake is the whole Sweet Cut Co origin in one frame. When the dessert needs architecture, you stop waiting for the right cutter to exist and you invent the tools yourself.

Then the rooms got bigger
From the truck we built Unique Sweetness catering: private dinners, events, and the kind of guest lists where the room alone could pay rent. He plated savory. She built sweets. Together we ran kitchens that had to look effortless at volume.
The cakes and shapes kept getting more unhinged. Architecture-level dessert. Motifs no big-box cutter had ever heard of. So we taught ourselves CAD, fired up 3D printers, and started designing the tools we needed. Cookie cutters. Cake pop molds. Stamps. The whole arsenal. We got married. We had a wonderful baby girl. Sweet Cut Co became the next course.

Salt & sugar, same voltage
He's the savory chef, creative hands, hustle wired into the bone, always chasing the next plate that makes people stop mid-sentence. She's the sweets baker with the same voltage: technique, spectacle, frosting as storytelling.
Together we speak fluent kitchen, from tasting-menu drama to showpiece cakes that need a structural engineer and a sense of humor. That's why our tools aren't cute shelf props. They're built for people who actually bake, press, stamp, and hustle.

The print farm that never sleeps
We don't dabble. We run a farm of twenty-five Bambu Lab X1C machines, same hero printer, multiplied until the walls hum. Lights on. Filament flowing. Shapes stacking. 24/7.
Every cutter, Cut-N-Push PRV, and mold is CAD-designed and dialed for strength, food-safe PLA & PETG that survives real kitchens, not just photo shoots. Optimized. Sturdy. Durable. The kind of tool you reach for on a rush order and trust not to flake.

Tools we wish we'd had years ago
We didn't start a tool brand for the aesthetic. We started it because truck service, showpiece cakes, and private dinners demanded shapes that simply didn't exist. Now they do. Pick a family and go make something ridiculous.
